About Robert Albert
Robert Albert Pascal built a legal career that began soon after law school and has centered on solo practice in Florida. He earned a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 1990 after studying law there in the late 1980s. Earlier, he completed undergraduate studies in history at Loyola University New Orleans, where he received his B.A. in 1987.
Pascal opened his own practice, Robert A. Pascal, P.A., in 1990 and has operated as a solo practitioner ever since. He has worked in Florida courts and administrative forums for decades. Running a small firm required him to handle many aspects of practice management personally — from client intake to courtroom preparation — and that experience shaped the way he approaches cases.
Over the years Pascal maintained ties to professional groups. He became a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2012 and has remained active in that organization. That membership signals regular exposure to immigration law issues and the community of practitioners who handle them. In other settings he has continued to engage with peers and local legal networks.
His day-to-day practice reflects the mixed demands of a long-standing solo practice. He has handled matters that require both courtroom advocacy and administrative representation. The record of continuous solo practice since 1990 suggests a lawyer comfortable managing individual files from start to finish, coordinating briefs, hearings and client communications without the intermediary of a large firm structure.
Colleagues describe Pascal as a workaday lawyer: steady, experienced and practical. He does not court publicity. Instead, he focuses on casework and client service in the ways a small-firm lawyer often must — juggling procedural deadlines, filings and client expectations. Those responsibilities mark much of his professional life.
Outside of the office, Pascal’s long-term involvement in professional associations has kept him connected to evolving practice areas, particularly immigration law since joining AILA. He continues to practice in Florida through Robert A. Pascal, P.A., handling matters that arise in his jurisdiction and maintaining memberships that keep him current on legal developments in immigration and related fields. His current practice focuses on immigration-related matters and other legal work handled through his solo firm.
