About Robb Alan

Robb Alan Spensley earned his law degree from Vermont Law School, beginning studies in 2006 and receiving his J.D. in 2009. He chose to remain in the state where he trained, building a career rooted in Vermont’s courts and legal institutions. His education at a law school known for environmental and public interest law exposed him to a variety of legal topics during a formative period of study.

After graduating, Spensley entered the Vermont legal community. He has practiced in the state since completing his degree, bringing courtroom experience and transactional work to bear for clients. Over the years he has handled matters that required attention to state rules and procedures, and he has worked with local agencies and tribunals when cases called for it. He has experience counseling individuals and organizations on legal obligations under Vermont law.

Spensley’s approach to cases is steady and methodical. He prepares filings, argues motions, and meets with clients to map out options. He pays attention to procedural detail and to the practical implications of legal decisions. Colleagues describe him as someone who values clear communication and who makes the law accessible to people who are not lawyers. He balances litigation demands with the need for plain spoken advice.

Outside courtroom work, Spensley has participated in professional activities typical of a practicing attorney in the state. He has maintained ties to the local bar and to legal peers. He has adapted his practice as Vermont’s statutes and regulations have shifted, and he has continued to handle matters that require familiarity with state-specific rules.

Clients and colleagues say he is thorough in preparation and consistent in handling follow-through on cases. He aims for practical solutions, recognizing that many disputes are resolved through negotiation as much as through trials. He is comfortable advising on procedural strategy and on the consequences of different courses of action under Vermont law.

Today, Spensley continues to practice law in Vermont. He represents clients across the state and focuses his work on matters arising under Vermont jurisdiction.
