About Rivka
Rivka Israel began her path to law with studies at Bar Ilan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts. She continued her legal education at California Western School of Law and received her J.D. There, she developed the academic foundation that would shape a career spanning practice on two continents.
Early in her career she joined the Marcus Family Law Center, PLC as a staff lawyer in 2004. That role put her in regular contact with courtroom processes and the day-to-day demands of family law practice. The position offered steady exposure to case preparation, client counseling and litigation support during a formative period.
After several years of practice she moved into private practice and established her own offices under the names Family Legal Ease and the Law Office of Rivka Israel, Esq. Running a small firm meant handling a mix of administrative duties and client work. She transitioned from employee to owner and took responsibility for building a caseload and overseeing case strategy.
She is admitted to practice in California and in the State of Israel. That dual admission has informed how she approaches matters that touch both jurisdictions, though her work remains anchored in family law. Her experience includes managing contested matters and negotiated resolutions, and she has worked with clients through both settlement discussions and court processes.
Colleagues and clients describe her approach as pragmatic. She emphasizes clear explanations of options and procedural steps. Her practice has involved routine courtroom appearances as well as drafting pleadings and negotiating agreements. Over time she has maintained a practice structure that allows her to take direct responsibility for client matters from intake through resolution.
She maintains an office under the Law Office of Rivka Israel, where she handles family law matters for clients in California and the State of Israel. Her current practice focuses on family law matters.
