About Rima C.
Rima C. Bardawil began her academic path at Florida International University, where she completed undergraduate studies in political science and sociology and took coursework in philosophy. She later attended St. Thomas University School of Law, earning her J.D. in the late 1990s and serving on the law review while in law school. Those years shaped her approach to litigation and practice management.
Her early legal career included work as a legal consultant and an in-house defense attorney. In 1997 she worked as a legal consultant in private practice and also served as an in-house defense lawyer for Fidelity National Insurance Company. She then moved into civil litigation practice as an associate at Lidsky, Vaccaro & Montes, P.A. in 1999. Those roles offered exposure to both defense-side strategies and courtroom procedure.
In 2001 she opened her own firm, Law Office Of Rima C. Bardawil, P.A., and has served as owner and president since then. Running a small firm has involved a mix of client intake, courtroom work, and administrative decisions. Over time she expanded involvement in local professional organizations and civic groups.
Her membership record shows steady engagement with the South Florida legal community. She has been a member of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association since 2012 and joined both the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association in 2015. She has also participated in the Florida Association for Women Lawyers in two separate periods, first in the mid-1990s and again beginning in 2013. Early in her career she was a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and served on St. Thomas University Law Review.
Beyond bar groups she has served on local boards and associations. She was a board director for the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2008 and vice president of the Singapore Homeowners Association from 2002 to 2006. She also held membership in community organizations in the mid-2000s.
Colleagues and clients see her as an attorney experienced in civil litigation who understands both defense and plaintiff perspectives. Her background includes hands-on courtroom work, insurance-defense experience, and the responsibilities of running a solo or small-firm practice. She remains active in local bar associations and legal groups.
She practices through the Law Office Of Rima C. Bardawil, P.A., where her work continues to center on civil litigation and insurance-related matters.
