About Richard
Richard Sprinkle built his legal foundation at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he completed his J.D. in 2017 after beginning his studies in 2014. He left law school prepared for the demands of both state and federal practice. Classroom study and clinic work at the Hebert Center shaped his approach to litigation and client counseling.
He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to work on matters that move between trial courts and appellate review. Over time he has handled matters that require attention in both state and federal settings, learning to translate courtroom experience into filings and arguments at the appellate level.
Sprinkle maintains current memberships in professional associations, staying connected to peers across the state and region. Membership keeps him aware of procedural developments and shifts in court rules. He also uses those professional networks to exchange practical insights on litigation strategy and appellate procedure.
He practices from the Sprinkle Law Firm, where he represents individuals and businesses in a range of matters that arise under Louisiana law and in federal court. At the firm he counsels clients on case strategy, prepares pleadings and briefs, and appears in court when litigation requires oral advocacy. His work involves drafting appellate briefs and preparing records in cases that proceed to higher courts, as well as managing disputes that remain at the trial level.
Outside the courtroom he focuses on translating complex legal issues into clear options for clients. He emphasizes practical steps and realistic assessments of risk. Today he continues to practice from Sprinkle Law Firm, representing clients in state and federal matters, including matters that proceed to the Fifth Circuit.
