About Richard

Richard Hayber built a legal career that traces back to a solid academic foundation. He graduated from Trinity College in 1985 and earned his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1992. Those credentials set the stage for a long practice in Connecticut law.

He began practicing after law school and eventually established his own firm. In 2000 he became the owner of Hayber Law Office, where he has led the practice for more than two decades. Running a small firm has allowed him to manage casework directly and maintain steady client contact.

Hayber is admitted to practice in Connecticut and holds current membership in the Connecticut State Bar. He also maintains memberships in the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association, and the Hartford County Bar. Those affiliations align his professional network with lawyers who handle workplace and employment disputes across state and national lines.

Over the years Hayber has concentrated much of his practice on employment-related matters. He handles claims that arise from the workplace and pursues remedies through negotiations and formal filings when necessary. His practice involves preparing pleadings, pursuing discovery, and appearing in Connecticut courts. Colleagues and clients have come to expect an attorney who manages the practical demands of litigation and the procedural steps that lead to resolution.

The choice to keep a single-office operation has shaped how Hayber works. It permits a direct, hands-on approach to client files and decision-making. It also means he oversees both the legal strategy and the business aspects of the practice. That combination influences the firm’s rhythm and how cases are staffed and advanced.

Outside of casework, he remains engaged with peer groups that focus on employment law issues. Those memberships provide access to resources, training, and discussion that inform day-to-day practice. They also connect him to changes in employment statutes and case law that affect litigators in Connecticut.

Today Hayber continues to practice from Hayber Law Office in Connecticut. He maintains a practice concentrating on employment law and related litigation in the state.
