About Richard C.

Richard C. Sokorai is a partner at High Swartz LLP. He has been based in the firm’s practice since 2003 and became a partner in 2007. Colleagues describe him as steady and thorough in the way he handles files. He works across matters affecting clients in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Sokorai earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1997. He completed his undergraduate studies at Temple University in 1993 with a B.A. in Political Science. Those years shaped the legal and analytical skills he would later use in private practice.

He began his legal career the same year he graduated from law school, joining Abraham, Bauer & Spaulding, P.C. as an associate in 1997. That early period gave him day-to-day experience managing client work and appearing in court. It also set the stage for his move to a larger, multi-practice firm.

In 2003 Sokorai joined High Swartz LLP as an associate. Over the next four years his responsibilities expanded and he became a partner in 2007. His role at the firm includes supervising junior lawyers, coordinating case strategy, and working directly with clients. He has handled matters that require attention to procedural detail and long-term case management.

Outside the office he has been active in professional organizations for many years. He holds memberships in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association and the Delaware County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the United States Armor Association. His affiliation with the Pennsylvania National Guard Association dates back to 1989, reflecting a long-standing connection to that organization.

Sokorai is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He maintains an active role at High Swartz LLP, where he represents clients and works on a range of legal matters across the two states. He continues to handle cases and supervise firm work in his current practice focus.
