About Richard

Richard Aguire built his legal foundation at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he earned a B.A. in political science and legal studies in 2007. He went on to attend Seattle University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2013. Those academic years shaped his courtroom instincts and gave him a steady base in the rules and procedures that govern Washington practice.

After law school he moved into practice in Washington. Early work included research, drafting pleadings and supporting trial teams. He developed practical skills by handling discovery, preparing witnesses and working on motions. The pace of litigation and the detail of courtroom work became a steady part of his professional life.

Aguire’s involvement in the legal community dates back to the mid-2010s. He has been a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and has kept an active presence in that organization since 2015. He participates in continuing education programs and attends association events, seeking to stay current on developments that affect litigators across the state.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in the office and direct in court. He spends much of his time preparing cases for hearings and trials. That preparation includes client interviews, factual investigation and coordinating with experts where needed. The work requires patience and an eye for procedural detail, and those are qualities he brings to his everyday practice.

Aguire currently practices at Pendergast Law. There he handles matters that arise in Washington state courts and works with clients from initial intake through resolution. His role at the firm involves drafting court papers, arguing motions and advising clients about procedural options. He balances courtroom advocacy with the case management tasks that keep matters moving toward timely resolution.

He continues to live and work in Washington, maintaining professional ties through local bar activities and association membership. His practice centers on representing clients in matters brought in Washington state courts.
