About Renee
Renee Anderson trained first as a scientist and later as a lawyer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the College of Charleston in 2009 and a Master of Science in Biometry from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her juris doctor at Charleston School of Law in 2012.
Her early years in law mixed courtroom exposure with behind-the-scenes work. While still in school she worked as library support staff at Charleston Law School and took on law clerk positions for Nelson Chase and Pro Bono Legal Services in 2011. In 2011 she also worked for The Law Office of Kristin K. Millonzi, gaining practical experience in client intake and research. After graduating, she spent time at Maritime Law Group, LLC in 2012, where she encountered the procedural specifics of maritime and transportation matters.
The years after law school broadened her practice and public service. In 2013 she served as a guardian ad litem and as a court-appointed guardian in Charleston County Probate Court. That same year she worked at Anastopoulo Law Office, LLC and volunteered as a DSS mediation volunteer. These roles put her into direct contact with family, probate and child welfare issues, and required courtroom advocacy and mediation skills. She joined George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers in 2015, bringing together her litigation experience and earlier exposure to complex factual records.
Anderson’s academic background in mathematics and biometry informs how she handles evidence. She pays close attention to medical records, statistical reports and expert affidavits. That training helps when she reviews case files, prepares questions for experts, or evaluates accident data. Her record includes work in probate courts and guardianship matters, experience with mediation settings, and assignments in maritime and personal injury contexts.
Colleagues and supervisors have placed her in roles that require both advocacy and careful case management. She has balanced pro bono and volunteer assignments with private practice, moving between direct client representation and court-appointed duties. Those varied responsibilities gave her recurring opportunities to handle discovery, draft pleadings and participate in hearings.
She is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and maintains an active practice. She currently practices at George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers, where she concentrates on personal injury and related civil litigation matters.
