About Reid A.
Reid A. Nahmias earned his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He arrived at law school after undergraduate studies and finished with the credential that opened the door to practice in Indiana. His legal education emphasized practical skills and courtroom procedure, and it set the stage for his entry into practice.
He began working as a lawyer in 2009 at the Law Office of William W. Hurst, LLC. Those early years were spent handling a steady docket of matters for clients in state courts. He prepared pleadings, managed discovery, dealt with motion practice and took part in hearings. The role required a balance of written work and in-court presence.
Over time he built experience in litigation procedures and client counseling. He handled case strategy, communicated with opposing counsel, and coordinated with experts when cases required technical input. The work required attention to deadlines and the ability to adapt when facts or legal positions changed. He took part in settlement talks and courtroom appearances as cases moved through the system.
