About Rebeka

Rebeka Seelinger earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2004. While at Pitt she served on the Law Review and competed on Moot Court teams. Earlier, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at The Ohio State University in 2001. Those years shaped an early interest in courtroom work and legal writing.

She began her professional career in 2004 as an Assistant District Lawyer in the Allegheny County District Lawyer’s Office. There she handled case preparation and courtroom matters typical of a busy county office. That role gave her regular exposure to litigated matters and the demands of public service lawyering.

In 2008 she became Lead Counsel at Seelinger Law. The move signaled a shift from public office to private practice. At Seelinger Law she assumed primary responsibility for client representation and case strategy. Over time she has overseen filings, hearings and settlement negotiations, and has guided matters from intake through disposition.

Her training on Law Review and Moot Court still shows up in how she approaches written arguments and oral presentations. Courtroom experience from the district lawyer’s office provided practical grounding. Colleagues describe her work as orderly and thorough. She tends to emphasize careful preparation and clear explanations for clients who are often navigating legal processes for the first time.

Seelinger is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and appears in the Western District of Pennsylvania. That combination allows her to handle matters in both state and federal venues. She has developed a practice rhythm that balances courtroom deadlines, client communications and trial preparation.

Outside the office she has maintained ties to legal education and local professional circles. Her background in academic writing and appellate-style argumentation informs how she frames legal issues for judges and opposing counsel. She keeps abreast of procedural developments that affect case management and strategy.

Today she continues as Lead Counsel at Seelinger Law, managing a caseload that moves through state and federal courtrooms. Her practice centers on litigation and courtroom representation in Pennsylvania state courts and the Western District of Pennsylvania.
