About Rebecca Begelman
Rebecca Begelman Strub built a career that bridges careful legal analysis and practical client work. She began her academic path at the University of Chicago, earning a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Civilizations in 1994. That humanities background preceded a turn to law, and she received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2000. She later completed an LL.M. at Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2005, concentrating in estate planning and tax.
Her formal training in estate and tax matters informs much of her legal practice. After completing the LL.M., she moved into practice that combined counseling and transactional work. Since 2010 she has been identified as Lawyer and Counselor at Law at Strub Law LLC, where she has maintained a practice devoted to planning and tax issues.
Strub holds admissions in multiple jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice in Missouri, New Jersey, Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania. Those admissions give her a platform to advise individuals and families whose affairs cross state lines. They also shape how she approaches questions about state-specific rules and multistate tax effects.
Her work centers on estate planning and related tax concerns. She prepares wills and trusts, drafts instruments intended to carry out clients’ transfer plans, and advises on the tax consequences that can accompany those decisions. She also assists in structuring transfers and planning strategies to reflect both federal and state tax considerations. Her LL.M. studies in estate planning and tax provide the formal backdrop for that work.
Clients consult Strub for practical advice on organizing their affairs and for help making complex choices more manageable. Her practice involves counseling through the design of plans and the preparation of documents. She regularly handles the drafting and review of estate planning instruments and explains how different alternatives affect tax positions and long-term goals.
Practicing from Strub Law LLC since 2010, she has developed a practice that accommodates individual and family needs across several states. That geographic reach shapes the questions she fields and the solutions she proposes. She currently focuses her practice on estate planning and tax matters at Strub Law LLC.
