About Raul Sandoval
Raul Sandoval Jr. built his practice around family law and courtroom work. He combines trial experience with day-to-day client counseling. Colleagues say he is deliberate in court and direct with clients.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington & Jefferson College, earning a B.A. in English and Sociology in 2007. He went on to Texas Tech University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2010. The law degree set the stage for immediate entry into practice.
Sandoval began his legal career at the Lorenzana Law Office in 2010. Day-to-day work there covered typical family law matters and early trial exposure. In 2012 he moved to Cordell and Cordell as a Senior Lead Litigator. That role expanded his courtroom responsibilities and placed him in high-volume family law litigation across the state.
In 2018 he opened Sandoval Family Law, P.C., where he acts as lawyer and owner. He is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That certification marks a distinct credential within Texas family law practice and reflects an emphasis on specialized practice and litigation experience.
Sandoval maintains active ties to local and state legal organizations. He has been a member of the Austin Bar Association since 2010. Since 2019 he has held memberships in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, Travis County Family Law Advocates, and the Austin Young Chamber. Those affiliations shape his professional network and keep him engaged with changes in family law and local legal policy.
