About Raquel Ann

Raquel Ann Parish built her legal foundation at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She left law school prepared for the practical demands of practice. The curriculum and clinics at Maryland's law school shaped her approach to client work and legal problem solving.

After completing her legal education, Parish took the steps necessary to practice in multiple jurisdictions. She is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Maryland. That dual admission has allowed her to counsel clients whose matters touch both states. It also shaped the practical side of her work: managing differing court procedures, filing requirements and timelines across two systems.

Parish’s professional path has centered on private practice. She established a practice under the name R. A. Parish Law, LLC, where she manages client engagements and directs office operations. Her experience running a small firm includes the administrative tasks of day-to-day practice and the client-facing work of advising and representing individuals and entities. Operating her own firm has required balancing casework with the business needs of a law office, including client intake, calendaring and case strategy.

Colleagues and clients describe Parish as methodical and direct in her work. She approaches matters by breaking them down into discrete issues. She prepares for hearings and meetings with an eye toward clear explanations and practical next steps. That steadiness is useful when cases require attention to procedural detail or rapid responses to opposing counsel.

Parish keeps an active presence in the legal communities of both states. Her memberships in professional organizations connect her with peers and local practice developments. Those connections help her stay current on changes in rules and local court practices. They also create informal channels for resolving scheduling and procedural questions that arise in multi-jurisdiction matters.

Today Parish continues to serve clients through R. A. Parish Law, LLC. She represents clients in matters arising in Ohio and Maryland and provides counsel across the practical and procedural issues those engagements raise. Her current practice concentrates on advising individual and business clients on legal matters across Ohio and Maryland.
