About Randy

Randy Wallace built his academic foundation in business before turning to law. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 1996. He then pursued legal studies at Mississippi College School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1999. He also holds an MBA from Mississippi College, completed in 1999.

Wallace’s early work included service in law enforcement. In 1996 he served as a deputy sheriff with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department. That experience gave him a close view of the criminal justice system and the practical workings of county law enforcement.

He entered private legal practice soon after completing law school. Wallace joined Robert Boyd and Associates PLLC as an associate in 2000. Four years later he became a partner at the same firm. The move to partnership reflected a steady progression through the firm’s ranks and a long-term association with its practice and clients.

Licensed to practice in Mississippi and admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Wallace handles matters that arise in both state and federal venues. He has argued matters in trial-level courts and participated in appellate filings before the Fifth Circuit. His admissions allow him to carry cases from local courts through the federal appeals process when necessary.

Over more than two decades at Robert Boyd and Associates, Wallace has been part of a legal team that manages a varied docket. He has worked on cases that require courtroom appearances, written briefs, and coordination with clients and opposing counsel. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing matters for litigation and attentive to procedural detail.

Outside the courtroom, Wallace’s dual background in business and law informs how he approaches client issues. His business degrees underpin an ability to engage with commercial records, financial statements, and the organizational realities that often accompany disputes. He brings that perspective into planning and advising while at the firm.

Today he remains a partner at Robert Boyd and Associates PLLC. His current practice concentrates on litigation in Mississippi and on appeals before the Fifth Circuit.
