Ramin Mozaffar is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Mozaffar is the principal attorney at Mozaffar Law Office, a law firm located in Santa Clara, California. He has been practicing law for over 21 years, serving clients throughout the state of California.
Mr. Mozaffar earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of San Francisco, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Administration. During his time at McGeorge School of Law, he gained experience in various legal areas, including business litigation, family law, and criminal defense.
Mr. Mozaffar concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, family law, and criminal defense. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving entity formation, partnership disputes, corporate lawsuits, divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, criminal restraining orders, and defense of misdemeanors and felonies, including drunk driving, domestic violence, sexual assault, and theft. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mozaffar has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the Superior Court of California for the County of San Mateo, and the Superior Court of California for the County of Placer. He has also appeared before the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Mateo for several years.
Mr. Mozaffar is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He has been selected by the Brazilian Consulate in San Francisco as one of the few attorneys listed in their directory assisting the Brazilian and Latino community. Mr. Mozaffar has also published articles in Brazilian publications focusing on international law.
