Ralph Lynn Williams is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1971. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Williams is the principal attorney at his own law firm, located at 316 S Melrose Dr, Ste 100, Vista, CA 92081-6668. He has been practicing law for over fifty years, serving clients throughout the Vista area and surrounding communities in Southern California.
Mr. Williams earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah in 1967. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Utah State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1963. During his time at the University of Utah, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles, which he has applied throughout his extensive legal career.
Mr. Williams concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy law, family law, and estate planning. He represents individuals and families in matters involving Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, divorce proceedings, child custody and support issues, and the creation of wills and trusts. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial consultations, negotiations, court hearings, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Williams has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on multiple occasions. Prior to establishing his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in San Diego for several years.
Mr. Williams is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He is also a member of the North County Bar Association. He has been recognized for his contributions to the legal community, receiving positive peer reviews for his legal knowledge, analytical capability, judgment, and communication skills. Mr. Williams is fluent in English, allowing him to effectively serve the diverse communities of Southern California.
