About Radha
Radha Rothrock began her legal education in Texas and returned to study tax law in Colorado. She earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1991. A decade later she completed an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Denver in 2001. Those credentials shape much of her work today.
Her career has moved between private practice and public service. She opened Rothrock Law Office in 1996 and built a small practice handling a range of client needs. In 2003 she took a position as Lead Senior Lawyer for the State of Florida Department of Children and Families. That role put her inside a large agency and gave her experience with administrative procedures and government representation. In 2008 she established and became managing member and owner of Rothrock Tax Lawyer, a firm she still directs.
Rothrock is licensed to practice in both Florida and Texas. She has remained active in local professional organizations. She is a member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Collier County Women’s Bar Association, and the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association. Those memberships reflect an engagement with county bar activities and the bankruptcy bar in southwest Florida.
Her LL.M. in Taxation informs the firm’s orientation. Over the years she has handled tax-related matters for individuals and businesses. Her time at the Department of Children and Families added administrative and public-sector experience to her background. Participation in the bankruptcy bar points to work that touches on insolvency issues and creditor-debtor matters.
Rothrock maintains a presence across southwest Florida. She oversees offices in Naples, Fort Myers, and Cape Coral. The multi-office setup allows her to see clients in several communities and to coordinate case work across county lines. She has held ownership roles in private practice since the mid-1990s and continues to manage firm operations.
Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who balances courtroom and office work. She has navigated both agency representation and private client tax work. Her practice blends the technical side of tax law with practical problem solving for individuals and small businesses. She currently concentrates her practice on tax law and related matters.
