About Rachel L.

Rachel L. Wright made an unusual path to the law. She began in arts management and music, then moved toward legal studies and practice. The combination shows up in how she describes problems: practical, sometimes creative, usually straightforward.

She earned her J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2021. Before law school she stayed in Buffalo for graduate study, completing an M.A. in Arts Management at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2013. Her undergraduate work at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, finished in 2011, combined arts management with a concentration in music. That early training anchored an interest in the business and organizational side of creative enterprises.

While in law school she sought experiences that would expose her to a range of legal settings. In 2019 she was a legal extern with Union Square Hospitality Group, where she encountered issues common to the hospitality and service industries. That same year she worked as a law clerk for the New York Public Employment Relations Board, gaining direct experience with public employment and labor matters. In 2022 she volunteered as an associate at the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, staffing the Family Law Help Desk and helping clients navigate initial steps in family court.

Her transition to private practice came quickly after graduation. In 2023 she served as an associate at Horton Law PLLC. Later that year she joined Tiveron Law PLLC as a lawyer. She works out of the Buffalo area, maintaining a presence at Tiveron Law’s Lancaster and Buffalo offices. Colleagues describe her as methodical and accessible; clients have noted her willingness to explain procedures plainly.

Wright’s experience spans public sector employment matters, client-facing work at a large hospitality employer and hands-on family law assistance through the volunteer help desk. Those strands inform the work she takes on in private practice. She tends to the procedural details that can stall cases, and she pays attention to organizational facts that shape client options. Admitted to practice in New York, she balances courtroom procedure with transactional questions that affect small employers and creative businesses.

She currently practices at Tiveron Law PLLC, handling family law matters and cases arising from public employment and the hospitality and small-business sectors.
