About Rachel

Rachel Igdal began her path to law in North Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013, then moved south to attend Charleston School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2016. Those years set the foundation for a practical practice shaped by courtroom work and firm-based litigation.

Her legal career started immediately after law school. In 2016 she joined Williams &. Walsh, LLC as an associate. She moved to Robertson Hollingsworth Manos & Rahn in 2018, where she continued work on civil matters. In 2021 she became an associate at Steinberg Law Office. The sequence shows steady movement through small and mid-sized firms and steady engagement in litigation settings.

Igdal is authorized to practice in South Carolina. She has also been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina since 2018, which has allowed her to handle matters that reach the federal level. Professional memberships include the American Bar Association, which she joined in 2016, the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association since 2017, and the South Carolina Association for Justice since 2018.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation. She spends time on pleadings and discovery. She appears in hearings and manages client communications. Those routine tasks make up a large portion of her daily work. Clients and firms rely on lawyers who can manage details under deadline; that is where her practice has been concentrated.

Over the years Igdal has worked on a range of civil cases. Her experience spans matters filed in state courts and cases that required federal filings after her district court admission. She has handled pretrial motions, discovery disputes and settlement negotiations. The record shows continued courtroom involvement rather than a shift to transactional work.

She maintains active memberships in local and national bar groups, and she participates in association events that cover litigation practice and professional development. Those affiliations keep her connected to peers across the state and provide access to continuing legal education resources.

Today she is an associate at Steinberg Law Office. She represents clients in matters brought in South Carolina state courts and in federal court when cases require it.
