About Rachel Claire

Rachel Claire Zoghlin practices immigration law in Maryland and is affiliated with Grossman Law, LLC. Her path into the law combined a liberal arts education with professional training in Washington, D.C. She brings a steady, committee-minded approach to cases and the organizations that shape immigration practice.

Zoghlin earned her B.A. in American Culture from Vassar College in 2007. She followed that with a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, awarded in 2012. Those years exposed her to both policy debates and client-centered legal work, experiences that shaped her early career choices.

Soon after completing law school she became involved in professional associations that focus on immigration issues. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2010. In the District of Columbia chapter she has served on the Division Committee and the National Day of Action Committee, roles she began in 2013 and continues to hold. Those committee positions have connected her to collaborative advocacy projects and to other practitioners working on legislative and community engagement efforts.

Colleagues describe her as methodical and practical. She applies that approach when preparing submissions, reviewing regulatory updates, and coordinating with clients to gather necessary documentation. Her committee work has kept her engaged in public education efforts and organized volunteer campaigns that support clients navigating complex systems.

Zoghlin is licensed to practice in Maryland. She has built a practice that balances casework with contribution to the professional community. She participates in trainings and committee meetings, and she works on matters that require both attention to detail and an understanding of evolving policy.

She is currently an attorney at Grossman Law, LLC in Maryland. She currently practices immigration law at Grossman Law, LLC in Maryland, focusing on representing clients in immigration matters and participating in AILA committee work that relates to community outreach and professional development.
