About Pratheep
Pratheep Sevanthinathan has practiced law since 2006. His career tracks a steady progression from associate roles to firm owner. He spent his early years in established practice settings before founding his own firm in 2012. Those steps shaped how he approaches the work he does today.
He began his legal career as a lawyer at Zausmer Kaufman in 2006. That role introduced him to the day-to-day demands of private practice and the routines that underpin case handling. In 2010 he moved to Spectrum Legal, where he continued to work as a lawyer and took on a broader slate of responsibilities. The move gave him more exposure to firm operations and client management, experience he carried forward when he launched Seva Law Office.
In 2012 he opened Seva Law Office and has served as its owner since then. Running a small firm requires balancing client work with administrative duties. He manages those demands directly, overseeing case intake, staffing decisions and the administrative side of the practice. Over time the office has functioned as a place for him to apply the procedural skills and practical judgment he developed in larger firm settings.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach to cases and thorough in his preparation. He places emphasis on clear pleadings, careful calendaring and steady attention to procedural detail. Those choices reflect a practical orientation: keep matters organized, respond to deadlines and give clients a clear sense of the next steps. He has carried that orientation from the start of his career to the present.
As owner of Seva Law Office he combines casework with the responsibilities of running a firm. He continues to take on client matters and manages the daily operations of the office. His current practice centers on managing Seva Law Office and representing the clients who bring matters to the firm.
