Pius Joseph is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Joseph is the founder and principal attorney at the Law Offices of Pius Joseph, a firm located at 595 E Colorado Blvd, Suite 801, Pasadena, CA 91101. He has been practicing law for over 38 years, serving clients throughout California, including major cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Fresno, and Sacramento.
Mr. Joseph earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California in 1986. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Bombay, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977. He furthered his legal education by obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Bombay in 1982. Additionally, he pursued advanced legal education at the University of Southern California and participated in trial advocacy programs at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
Mr. Joseph concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law, including serious and catastrophic injuries, automobile and motorcycle accidents, defective products, trucking accidents, bicycle accidents, premises liability, trip and fall, slip and fall, dog bite cases, traumatic brain injury cases, and wrongful death. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving these areas, handling all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Joseph has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Supreme Court. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Crawford and Bayley and Margolis, McTernan, Scope, Sacks & Epstein. He has been practicing trial law since 1988 and has won multiple jury trials in various counties across California.
Mr. Joseph is an active member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. He is also an advocate member of the American Association for Justice. In 2013, he was admitted to the United States Supreme Court. He is fluent in English and Hindi, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of California effectively.
