About Phillip

Phillip Quatrini earned his J.D. from The Catholic University of America in 1994 after completing a B.S. at Pennsylvania State University in 1985. His academic path bridged the sciences and the law, and it set the stage for a career that has spanned private practice and professional association work. He took the bar in the mid-1990s and holds admission in Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia (admitted in 1995).

Quatrini began his legal career at Bryan Cave LLP, joining the firm as an associate in 1994. He remained at Bryan Cave through the next decade, becoming counsel in 2004. Those years coincided with significant market activity in corporate and transactional work, and he handled matters typical of a large law firm practice. He later moved into a different practice setting and, in 2010, became associated with Quatrini Law PLC.

Professional involvement has been a steady element of his career. Since 2000 he has been a member of the American Bar Association Committee on Mergers and Acquisitions. That long-standing participation indicates sustained engagement with the issues and professionals who handle corporate deals and integration questions. He has participated in committee work alongside practicing lawyers from firms, corporations and other institutions.

Across his roles at a national firm and at a smaller practice, Quatrini has worked on transactional matters that touch on corporate structure, deals between businesses and regulatory considerations. He has handled agreements and the legal mechanics that accompany business combinations and other corporate transactions. His practice has required coordination across jurisdictions, something his admissions in multiple bars support.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in handling documents and deliberate in assessing transactional risk. His career shows a steady progression from associate to counsel at a large firm and then into a different practice setting where he could apply that experience in a more compact environment. He maintains professional ties to peers through the ABA committee and other contacts developed over three decades in practice.

He currently practices through Quatrini Law PLC and focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and related corporate work.
