About Philip Aaron
Philip Aaron Nicolosi built his legal path from Midwestern classrooms to a private practice in Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in 1998 and completed his Juris Doctor at Northern Illinois University in 2002. Those years laid a foundation in legal theory and practical training that he later applied in both in-house and private roles.
After law school, Nicolosi moved into a corporate legal role. In 2003 he worked as Legal Counsel for The Buckley Companies, LLC. That position gave him day-to-day experience advising a business on transactional and compliance matters. It also exposed him to the operational side of client counseling and contract work, experience he later brought into private practice.
Nicolosi founded Phil Nicolosi Law, P.C. in 2007 and serves as the firm's president. Over time he shifted from in-house counsel responsibilities to running a small law office. The change required different skills: client intake, case management, and firm administration alongside legal representation. He has managed those responsibilities while maintaining an active Illinois practice.
His background bridges corporate and private practice settings. The early corporate role informs how he approaches client problems now. He is accustomed to drafting agreements, advising on risk, and handling disputes that touch business interests. Colleagues and clients see him applying practical judgment shaped by both internal counsel work and the pressures of private practice.
Nicolosi is admitted to practice in Illinois and has spent his career serving clients in that jurisdiction. He has participated in professional circles and maintains connections with peers across the state. Outside of client work, he has overseen the operations of his firm and guided its strategic decisions since its founding.
Today he leads Phil Nicolosi Law, P.C., where he provides legal services to individuals and businesses across Illinois. His practice emphasizes practical problem-solving and hands-on representation in matters presented by his clients, and he remains active in the firm’s daily work and long-term planning.
