About Peter M
Peter M Nagell built his path to law from two Midwestern classrooms. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2007 from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he studied international studies and political science. The next chapter took him to William Mitchell College of Law, where he completed his J.D. in 2012.
After law school, Nagell remained in Minnesota to begin his legal career. He moved into practice in the state soon after graduation. Over time he has worked on matters that required both careful research and clear written advocacy. He has also taken part in the everyday demands of a practicing lawyer, from client counseling to courtroom appearances.
His undergraduate studies shaped how he approaches legal questions. The combination of international studies and political science trained him to look for context and to weigh competing frameworks. Those analytical habits carried over to law school, where doctrinal work and practical exercises reinforced his ability to parse complex issues and present them succinctly.
Nagell holds current membership in professional associations. He participates in activities that connect him to the Minnesota legal community and to colleagues across practice areas. That engagement has kept him attuned to changes in state law and procedure, and to the practical concerns that clients bring to a legal problem.
Today he practices in Minnesota. He handles matters that arise in state courts and before local tribunals, applying the legal education and practical experience he developed since graduating in 2012. He currently practices in Minnesota, focusing on matters before state courts.
