About Peter J

Peter J Simpson earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2006 after beginning his studies in 2003. He attended law school at a time when courts and business communities in the Pacific Northwest were adjusting to shifting regulatory frameworks. That environment shaped the practical approach he brought to the classroom and later to his clients.

After graduation, Simpson moved into legal practice in Washington. Records list Washington among the jurisdictions in which he is authorized to practice. Over the years he has worked on matters that required familiarity with state procedures and local court practice. He built a working knowledge of how Washington courts operate and how local administrative processes affect clients’ options.

Simpson’s work has involved representation before state tribunals and engagement with regulatory processes. He has handled filings, prepared litigation documents, and advised clients on procedural and substantive issues arising under state law. Colleagues describe him as steady in court settings and careful in legal drafting. He tends to favor clear, direct writing and pragmatic strategies tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Outside of appearances and filings, Simpson has focused on sharpening the transactional and advocacy skills lawyers need in state practice. He keeps current on Washington rules and statutory developments. That attention helps him evaluate the likely course of a matter and advise clients on realistic next steps. He also draws on his Gonzaga law training when parsing complex statutory schemes or developing courtroom arguments.

Today Simpson continues to practice in Washington. He represents clients in matters governed by Washington law, advising on procedural options, statutory requirements, and court processes. His practice centers on guiding clients through legal issues that arise under state statutes and local rules.
