About Peter Christopher
Peter Christopher Lomtevas earned his Juris Doctor from Touro College in 1996. He completed his legal training in the mid-1990s and entered practice as the legal market adjusted to new regulatory and procedural challenges. His early professional steps are reflected in a roster of admissions to state and federal bars that followed his law school graduation.
He has served as owner of Peter C. Lomtevas, Esq., P.C. since 2004. That role has placed him at the center of his firm’s case selection and courtroom work. Over the years he has built a practice that reaches beyond a single courthouse. He remains the principal lawyer at his firm and manages its day-to-day legal operations.
Lomtevas is admitted in multiple jurisdictions. His admissions include New York and Pennsylvania, the states of Texas and Georgia, and federal courts such as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the D.C. Circuit. He also holds admission to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Those credentials allow him to present matters in a range of state and federal forums. He has experience filing and arguing motions in trial courts and appellate settings across those admitted jurisdictions.
Colleagues and opposing counsel know him as an attorney who stays regularly engaged with the procedural rules of the courts where he appears. He has maintained continuous practice ties and professional memberships over the years while operating from his own firm. His career spans more than two decades of courtroom appearances, filings and client representation under his own firm name.
Today, he continues to practice through Peter C. Lomtevas, Esq., P.C., representing clients in matters before the state and federal courts to which he is admitted.
