About Peter
Peter Catalano is a dedicated personal injury attorney based in Syracuse, New York. He earned his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 1991, following his Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Bonaventure University in 1988. After completing his education, he was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992. This foundational knowledge in law and history gave him the skills necessary to navigate complex legal matters effectively. In 1995, Peter co-founded Alexander & Catalano, a law firm that quickly gained recognition for its focus on personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
The firm became well-known for its innovative advertising campaigns, particularly the memorable "Heavy Hitters" slogan. This branding helped establish the firm as a significant player in the legal field of New York. The firm's reputation for aggressive representation and client advocacy contributed to its success in securing favorable outcomes for clients. In 2019, Alexander & Catalano amicably dissolved into two separate entities: James Alexander Law and Catalano Law. Following this transition, Peter established Catalano Law, where he continues to focus on personal injury cases. His expertise encompasses many issues, including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, worksite injuries, dog bites, and product liability.
Under his leadership, Catalano Law has achieved multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts, demonstrating a commitment to obtaining justice for clients who have suffered due to the negligence of others. He is married and has five children, and he values spending quality time with his family. His interests include weight training and trapshooting, activities that reflect his commitment to personal health and discipline. Furthermore, Peter is actively involved in his community, serving on the board of directors at the DeWitt Fish and Game Club Inc. and the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club. His involvement in local organizations highlights his dedication not only to his profession but also to the community he serves.
