About Pete
Pete Friedmann is an Ohio lawyer who has built his practice around employment and civil litigation matters. He started his legal career after completing law school and has since taken on roles in civic and professional organizations tied to workplace law. Colleagues describe him as a steady presence in local legal circles.
Friedmann earned his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2012 after completing undergraduate studies at Ohio University in 2008. Those years shaped his early interest in labor and employment issues and gave him a courtroom foundation he would later put to use for private clients.
Shortly after finishing law school, Friedmann helped establish The Friedmann Firm LLC in 2012. He has been a founding member of that firm since its formation. Over the years he built the practice around individual and business employment disputes, representing claimants and employers in a range of matters that reach state and administrative forums across Ohio.
Outside the office, Friedmann holds several positions within state advocacy groups. He serves on the board of the Central Ohio Association for Justice and sits on the leadership of the Ohio Association for Justice, where he has been an Employment Law Section Chair and a trustee. Those roles have involved organizing educational programs, advising on policy matters relevant to employment law, and coordinating with other lawyers on litigation strategy and legislative outreach.
Friedmann’s courtroom work includes trials and administrative hearings. He has handled contract disputes, wrongful termination claims, discrimination and wage-and-hour cases. His practice mixes litigation and negotiated resolutions, depending on client goals and the specifics of each matter. He also engages in pre-litigation counseling to help employers and employees understand legal options and risks.
He maintains firm offices under The Friedmann Firm name in Ohio, where he continues to take cases and handle ongoing litigation. In 2026 he remains active in bar-related organizations and local justice associations, participating in CLE programs and section activities.
Friedmann’s current practice centers on employment law and related civil litigation matters in Ohio.
