About Perry William

Perry William McConnell trained first as a student of ideas and then as a lawyer. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Classics from Seattle Pacific University in 2005. Three years later he completed his Juris Doctor at Gonzaga University School of Law, finishing law school in 2008.

Those academic years shaped the way he approaches problems. Philosophy and classics emphasized clear argument and careful reading. Law school added practical tools: case analysis, statutory interpretation and courtroom practice. Peers from both programs recall a student who weighed ideas and then acted on them.

McConnell entered practice in Washington soon after law school. He has been associated with Third Street Law since 2008, serving as a lawyer and partner. In that role he has managed client matters, worked on case strategy and taken part in the daily operations of a small firm. The title of partner arrived early in his career and signaled a long-term role in running a practice rather than a brief stint as an associate.

Professional memberships have been part of his career from the start. He has held membership in the Washington State Bar Association since 2008 and in the Snohomish County Bar Association from the same year. He joined the Washington State Association for Justice in 2013 and remains a member. These associations place him in regular contact with local and state colleagues and provide forums for continuing legal education and case-related discussion.

People who hire him encounter a lawyer rooted in the Washington legal community. He has built a practice at Third Street Law that relies on steady client work and ties to local bar groups. Casework and client counseling have marked most of his time in practice. He balances courtroom preparation with the administrative responsibilities that come with partnership in a small firm.

The arc of his career is straightforward: a liberal arts grounding followed by law school, then immediate entry into a local firm where he assumed partnership responsibilities. That path has kept him close to the courts and to the professional organizations that shape practice in the state. His current practice centers on serving clients in Washington through his work at Third Street Law.
