About Pembroke H.
Pembroke H. Emanuelson completed his undergraduate studies at Gettysburg College in 2012 and went on to earn his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2020. He completed a rigorous legal education during a time of shifting workplace law and heightened attention to employment issues. Those years provided the foundation for the work he pursues now.
He is licensed to practice in New Jersey. After law school he built toward practice in employment matters and related areas. In 2023 he joined Smith Eibeler, LLC as an associate. The move brought him into a small firm environment where newer attorneys often take on case responsibilities early and work directly with clients and seasoned trial lawyers.
At Smith Eibeler Emanuelson handles day-to-day case preparation, legal research and drafting. He works on filings, participates in discovery and contributes to strategy discussions. Colleagues describe his role as that of an associate who supports litigation and client advocacy across the firm’s caseload.
His professional memberships include the National Employment Lawyers Association and the State Bar of New Jersey. Those affiliations connect him to peers who practice employment law and offer continuing legal education and professional networking. Emanuelson maintains an active presence in those organizations, which keeps him current on developments in statutes, regulations and court decisions affecting workers and employers alike.
Emanuelson’s background combines a liberal arts undergraduate education and a law degree from a Washington, D.C. law school, followed by several years of practical experience in a New Jersey litigation setting. He has focused his post‑graduate years on building litigation skills and applying them to client matters at Smith Eibeler. He currently practices employment law at Smith Eibeler, LLC, handling employment-related matters.
