About PeggyAnn K.
PeggyAnn K. Wollman earned her law degree from Boston University School of Law in 2000. She practices in Massachusetts and built her legal career in the Boston area after completing her J.D. Her early training in law school led directly into private practice in the state where she is licensed.
She began her post-law school employment in 2001 as an associate at the Law Offices of Ara H. Margosian II, P.C. There she handled matters typical for a small firm attorney, gaining courtroom experience and exposure to transactional work. In 2010 she became a partner at LaFountain & Wollman P.C. Lawyers at Law. That move marked a transition to a leadership role in a firm setting and expanded her responsibilities to include firm management as well as client representation.
Throughout her career she has maintained active ties to the legal community. She holds memberships in the Massachusetts State Bar and the Boston Bar Association. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association (REBA) and the American Land Title Association. Those affiliations reflect an ongoing engagement with practice-area colleagues and with the evolving rules and standards that affect title and real estate practice.
Colleagues describe her work as steady and practical. She has experience across transactional matters and title issues that commonly arise in property deals. In the firm she handles both client-facing negotiations and the preparation of legal documents used in closings and transfers. She has also worked on contested matters that require familiarity with real property statutes and case law in Massachusetts.
Outside of firm duties she has participated in continuing legal education and bar activities that keep her current on legal developments. That participation helps when statutes or court decisions change the landscape of property law in the state. It also informs how the firm advises buyers, sellers, lenders, and title insurers.
She is a partner at LaFountain & Wollman P.C. Lawyers at Law and continues to practice in Massachusetts. She currently concentrates her practice on real estate and title matters in Massachusetts.
