About Pedro Leyva
Pedro Leyva Jr. came to law after a steady course through Texas schools. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013 and completed his Juris Doctor at Texas Tech University School of Law in 2017. Those credentials set the scene for a legal career rooted in Texas practice.
Admitted to the Texas bar in 2017, Leyva entered the profession at a time when the legal market demanded both technical knowledge and practical judgment. He built experience in the years following law school and in 2022 became a partner at Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, LLP. The promotion marked a move into firm leadership and heavier responsibility for managing client matters and mentoring junior attorneys.
Colleagues describe Leyva as a lawyer who attends to detail and prefers clear explanations over jargon. He works out of several of the firm’s regional locations. His practice touches the firm’s Austin, El Paso, Lubbock, Odessa and Albuquerque offices, which gives him exposure to a range of clients and regional issues. He maintains active status with the Texas State Bar, where he has been a member since 2017.
Law practice at a multi-office firm requires adaptability. Leyva’s role as partner involves both casework and organizational duties. He participates in client meetings, legal drafting and strategic planning for matters assigned to him. He also contributes to the training of associates and coordinates with attorneys across the firm’s offices to align case approaches.
Outside client files, Leyva keeps connections to the legal community in Texas. His bar membership is current, and he retains ties to the alumni networks from UT Austin and Texas Tech. Those networks have been a steady source of referrals and professional contacts since his graduation.
Peers say Leyva brings pragmatism to legal problems. He favors direct solutions when they are available and persistent advocacy when they are not. His work spans the regional footprint of Glasheen, Valles & Inderman and involves advising and representing clients consistent with the firm’s practice offerings. He maintains an active Texas license and practices from the firm’s Austin, Albuquerque, Odessa, El Paso and Lubbock offices, concentrating his efforts on matters aligned with the firm’s practice areas.
