About Paul
Paul Rocuant has spent three decades building a practice grounded in family law and community work. He completed a B.A. in political science at the University of Connecticut in 1985 and earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 1990. Those years shaped the legal foundation he later applied in both courtroom and classroom.
Early in his career he worked as a family law case worker for Greater Boston Legal Services in 1992. That role put him face to face with clients at vulnerable moments. He moved into private practice the following year, joining Bass and Chernoff in 1993. Two years later, in 1995, he launched Rocuant Law Offices and took on the role of principal owner.
Over time Rocuant expanded the firm’s local presence while maintaining ties to public service. He holds admission in Massachusetts and Florida and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials have supported a caseload that spans typical family law matters and alternative dispute resolution work.
Rocuant’s leadership roles in professional and community organizations reflect repeated engagement beyond the office. He served as president of the Family Law Bar of Collier County from 1999 to 2000 and led Divorce Support Services as president from 2003 to 2005. Beginning in 2009 he joined the board of Collaborative Professionals of SW Florida and continues to serve as a director. He also coached youth basketball at the YMCA from 2003 to 2007, an experience that informed his approach to conflict resolution and working with families.
In addition to practice, Rocuant has pursued teaching. Since 2005 he has been a faculty adjunct professor at Hodges University. That role has kept him connected to students and to questions of law as they intersect with community needs. His work in the classroom complements his courtroom and negotiation experience.
Colleagues describe a methodical practitioner who balances litigation readiness with efforts to resolve disputes through collaborative and mediated processes. He has navigated contested hearings and settlement conferences, and he has represented clients in matters that require sensitive handling of family dynamics.
He practices from Rocuant Law Offices and continues to handle family law matters, collaborative practice, and related dispute resolution work.
