About Paul
Paul Kogan built his path to law from two different classrooms. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Risk Management from Florida State University in 2004. He then attended Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, completing his law degree in 2008. Those years shaped a practical approach to legal work and an interest in how business and law intersect.
His early legal work began shortly after graduation. In 2009 he joined the Law Office of Lee H. Schillinger, P.A. as an associate. That role put him in the daily trenches of client counseling and court practice. Two years later he helped form Kogan Prober, P.A., taking on broader responsibility for case strategy and firm operations. By 2017 he had restructured his practice into The Kogan Firm, P.A., where he is listed as a lawyer.
Kogan is admitted to practice in Florida and is also authorized to appear before the Federal Circuit. Those credentials allow him to handle matters that range from state court disputes to federal appeals. He has moved between roles that require both courtroom presence and behind-the-scenes legal work. Colleagues describe him as methodical and straightforward in handling files and client expectations.
Across his career he has balanced private practice duties with managing the business side of a small firm. That experience covers client intake, drafting pleadings, and supervising case workflows. He has also taken part in the professional community through unspecified association membership, maintaining ties that keep him current on changes in practice and procedure.
Kogan’s educational background in business provides a foundation for advising clients whose legal issues intersect with commercial concerns. He brings that perspective to the firm he established and to the matters he accepts. He has shown an interest in procedural clarity and preparation, often emphasizing orderly case management and careful briefing.
Today he practices out of The Kogan Firm, P.A. in Florida. He concentrates on representing clients in state and federal matters, including appearances before the Federal Circuit.
