About Paul Henry

Paul Henry Nathan trained in courtroom work from the outset. He studied politics and the effects of NAFTA on the Mexico–U.S. drug trade as an undergraduate at the University of San Francisco, then moved to Golden Gate University School of Law, where he began studies in 2004 and earned his J.D. in 2007. He returned to intensive trial training in 2012 at the Trial Lawyers College, completing its Trial Lawyer and Warrior program and further developing his jury trial skills.

Nathan's early legal work included successive positions at institutions that placed him close to fact-finding and high-stakes dispute resolution. While still in law school he served as a legal intern at the United Nations Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in 2005. In 2006 he worked as a law clerk at Plastiras & Terrizzi, LLP. After completing his J.D., he returned to the international tribunal in 2007 as a law clerk, handling legal research and courtroom support at a multinational court.

Those experiences shaped a practitioner comfortable in both domestic litigation and matters that touch on international procedure. He pursued additional jury-trial training through Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer College and maintains membership in the Bar Association of San Francisco, where he has been listed since 2013. The training and association work reflect sustained involvement in trial practice and peer networks in the Bay Area.

Nathan's education and early clerking work inform his approach to cases. He spends time preparing witness examinations and evidence for trial. He has formal training in jury trials and spends much of his professional time in courtrooms or preparing for them. The combination of international tribunal work and local litigation practice gives him a visible interest in how evidence is presented and received across different forums.

He maintains an office in Marin County and works within California courts and regulatory frameworks. Colleagues describe him as methodical in trial preparation and deliberate in courtroom pacing. He has continued to return to trial skills training since 2012 and remains active in local bar activities.

Nathan currently practices in California from a Marin County office, where his work centers on trial litigation and courtroom advocacy in state courts.
