About Paul D
Paul D Crocker built his legal foundation in Oklahoma. He earned a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2008 after completing undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University–Stillwater, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and International Business in 2005. Those years established the academic base he relied on as he moved into practice.
Early in his career he took on a leadership role at a private firm. In 2009 he became a partner at Crocker & Teter, PLLC. That post placed him directly in firm management and client service at a relatively early stage. In 2014 he joined Morrel Law PLLC as a lawyer, a move that shifted his daily work into a different office setting while keeping him active in courtroom and case work.
Crocker has maintained active ties to professional legal circles. He was a member of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court from 2009 through 2015. Since 2018 he has been associated with the Hudson-Hall-Wheaton Inn of Court, participating in programs that bring judges and lawyers together on questions of practice and professionalism. Those affiliations reflect an interest in collegial exchange and continuing legal education.
His practice credentials include admission to the bar in Oklahoma and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Those credentials allow him to represent clients in state matters and on appeals in the federal appellate court that covers much of the Mountain and Plains states. Over the years he has worked on matters that required coordination across different levels of the judiciary.
Colleagues and clients describe Crocker as methodical in his preparation. He takes a straightforward approach to casework and emphasizes careful drafting and attention to procedural detail. He has handled matters requiring attention to both trial-level procedure and appellate briefing.
Outside the office his involvement in Inns of Court has included mentoring newer lawyers and attending panels on ethics and advocacy. He has balanced those commitments alongside private practice responsibilities.
He currently practices at Morrel Law PLLC, where he represents clients in matters in Oklahoma and before the Tenth Circuit.
