About Patrick W.

Patrick W. Brown built his legal foundation at Boston University, where he earned a B.A. in political science in 2011, and at Temple University Beasley School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2016. He arrived in the profession after a string of practical experiences that bridged campus and courthouse. Those early years shaped how he approaches research, drafting and courtroom procedure.

His time in judicial chambers began while he was still a law student. In 2014 he served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Daniel J. Anders in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. After law school he returned to Judge Anders’s chambers as a judicial fellow in 2016. The fellow role moved him deeper into opinion preparation, bench research and the day-to-day mechanics of case management. In 2016 he also worked as a legal intern to the Honorable Anthony H. Williams in the Pennsylvania Senate, an experience that exposed him to legislative drafting and policy review. In 2018 he joined the staff of the Honorable Shelley Robins New of the First Judicial District as a judicial law clerk.

That sequence of internships and clerkships gave Brown a steady immersion in both trial-court practice and the workings of state government. He handled legal research projects, drafted memoranda and assisted on dispositive motions. He saw the courtroom from the bench’s perspective. He also learned how statutory language and legislative intent can affect litigation.

Brown moved into private practice in 2020 when he joined Alan L. Frank Law Associates, P.C. There he took on client work that required court filings, discovery management and courtroom appearances. His background in chambers informs how he prepares cases for hearing and trial. He has experience managing case dockets and coordinating with co-counsel and opposing parties.

He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, the District of Columbia and New Jersey. That multi-jurisdictional admission allows him to handle matters that cross state lines and to appear where his clients need representation. Colleagues say his prior judicial and legislative work helps him frame arguments with an eye toward how judges and policymakers evaluate legal problems.

Brown continues to practice at Alan L. Frank Law Associates, P.C., where he represents clients across the jurisdictions in which he is licensed.
