About Patrick T
Patrick T Crawley built a legal path that runs from courtroom staff work to managing trial practice. He studied law at the University of Oklahoma, earning a J.D. (1991), and spent a year of legal study at Queens College, Oxford University in 1989. He also holds a B.S. in Psychology, Business and Law from the University of Central Oklahoma. Those academic stops include both U.S. and U.K. legal study and helped shape his approach to litigation and procedure.
Early in his career he served as a judicial legal assistant for the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals in 1989. That role exposed him to appellate reasoning and the mechanics of criminal appellate decision-making. He joined the Oklahoma State Lawyer General’s office in 1992 as an Assistant Lawyer General, where he handled matters for the state and gained experience in public-sector litigation. He later served as an Assistant District Lawyer for the Oklahoma County District Lawyer in 2003.
Crawley moved into private practice and trial work after his public-sector service. In 2010 he worked as a trial lawyer at Slane Crawley & Creecy. Two years later he became Managing Trial Lawyer at the Crawley Law Center. In that role he oversaw trial preparation and courtroom strategy while continuing to try cases himself. His professional record includes admission to practice in Oklahoma and appearances in federal court. He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit, and he is authorized to appear in all federal district courts in Oklahoma.
Peers have recognized his work. He has held an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1996, a designation that reflects peer review of legal ability and ethical standards. That recognition sits alongside decades of courtroom work in both state and federal systems.
Crawley’s practice emphasizes trial litigation. He has handled criminal and civil matters at both the trial and appellate levels. He prepares for jury trials, conducts evidentiary hearings, and manages case strategy from filing through verdict. His years as a courtroom lawyer and as a courtroom manager give him familiarity with practical aspects of trying cases and supervising trial teams.
He now practices at The Crawley Law Center’s Edmond office, representing clients in state and federal courts and continuing to try cases in Oklahoma and federal venues.
