About Patrick Allen

Patrick Allen Wright is a seasoned family law attorney based in Lewisville, Texas. He co-founded The Wright Firm, L.L.P. alongside his twin brother, Paul Wright, creating a practice that has become well-respected in the community. Patrick is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a designation that highlights his expertise in this complex area of law. Since 2008, he has been recognized as a Super Lawyer, a distinction awarded to only a select group of attorneys in Texas. His academic journey began at the University of North Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1991.

Following his undergraduate studies, Patrick pursued his Juris Doctor at South Texas College of Law, graduating in 1994. During his time in law school, he was an active member of the Board of Advocates, honing his advocacy skills that would later serve him well in his legal career. Patrick's practice encompasses many family law issues, including divorce, child custody disputes, and modifications of existing orders. He also handles personal injury and civil litigation cases, demonstrating his versatility as an attorney. The Wright Firm has established offices in Flower Mound and Frisco, Texas. This lets the attorney serve clients across the region effectively.

His experience in family law has made him a trusted advisor for many families facing challenging legal situations. Before focusing exclusively on family law, Patrick served as the City Attorney for Krum, Texas, for approximately eight years. He also held the position of City Prosecutor for Corinth, Texas, and served as City Attorney for Hackberry, Texas. These roles provided him with a solid foundation in municipal law and enhanced his understanding of the legal field in Texas. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, adding to his legal reach.

In addition to his legal practice, Patrick is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and has been recognized in U.S. News' Best Lawyers in America for Family Law and Family Law Mediators. His interest in technology and its applications in the legal field sets him apart from many of his peers. Outside of work, Patrick is married and has two children. He enjoys attending his daughters' volleyball games, balancing his professional commitments with his family life.
