About P. Bobby
P. Bobby Shukla is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2003. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Shukla is the principal attorney at Shukla Law, P.C., a boutique employment discrimination law firm located in San Francisco, California. She has been practicing law for over twenty years, focusing exclusively on employment law matters for employees.
Ms. Shukla earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she graduated in 2003. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. During her time at UC Hastings, she was a founding member of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal, reflecting her commitment to social justice and advocacy.
Ms. Shukla concentrates her practice in the areas of employment law, representing clients in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, and pay equity. She handles all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. In 2024, she was awarded the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, and she was a finalist for the Marin Trial Lawyers Association's Trial Lawyer of the Year Award in the same year.
Ms. Shukla is an active member of several professional organizations, including the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, where she serves as President-Elect and is an Executive Board Member. She is also involved with the National Lawyers Guild, serving on its Board and as President of the San Francisco Chapter. Additionally, she is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the California Lawyers Association.
