About Omer
Omer Jaleel earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago John Marshall Law School in 2007. He entered the legal profession after law school and moved quickly into courtroom work. The law degree anchored an early career spent inside Illinois courts and legal offices.
Fresh from law school, he began work in the public sector in 2007 at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. There he served as an assistant prosecutor, gaining first‑hand experience in trial preparation, courtroom procedure and the pace of public practice. That formative year in a large prosecutorial office shaped how he approaches fact development and case strategy.
In 2012 he founded Jaleel Law P.C. He established the firm to provide private legal services in the Chicago area. As the founding lawyer he handles client matters, oversees casework and manages the practice.
