Olsi Vrapi is the managing partner of Vrapi Weeks P.A., an immigration law firm with offices strategically located in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces, New Mexico. With over 19 years of dedicated experience in immigration law, he is known for representing individuals, families, and businesses across many immigration matters. His expertise encompasses family and business visa petitions, green card applications, naturalization and citizenship processes, as well as the removal of conditions and green card renewals. Additionally, he handles H-1B visas, PERM applications, and J-1 Conrad Physician Waivers, among other immigration issues. Litigation is another area where Mr. Vrapi excels—he actively litigates federal cases that challenge immigration delays and denials. His comprehensive knowledge of immigration law enables him to navigate complex legal fields effectively.
Mr. Vrapi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of New Mexico in 2003, graduating magna cum laude. He continued his education at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2006, graduating cum laude. After being admitted to the New Mexico State Bar in 2007, he began his legal career with a focus on immigration law. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Vrapi is committed to education—he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law. In this role, he shares his extensive knowledge and experience with future immigration attorneys, helping to shape the next generation of legal professionals.
His fluency in Spanish and Albanian, along with proficiency in Italian and a working knowledge of French, allows him to connect with clients and address their needs. Mr. Vrapi has also been actively involved in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where he served as the past chair of the Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma Chapter. His contributions to the field have made him a sought-after speaker at national immigration law conferences. Over the years, he has received multiple national awards that recognize his dedication and impact in immigration law. As an immigrant from Albania who arrived in the United States in 1999, Mr. Vrapi understands firsthand the challenges that immigrants face.
