About Nirav S
Nirav S Patel trained as a lawyer in Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2009, where he studied psychology and political science. He then continued at the University of Illinois College of Law and received his J.D. in 2012. Those years in Illinois shaped the trajectory of his legal career and reinforced his connection to the state’s courts and communities.
After law school he began practicing in a staff role at Binder & Binder in 2013. There he worked as a lawyer advocate, a position that exposed him to day-to-day client work and the operational side of a larger legal practice. The early experience provided a foundation in client counseling, case management and the routines of litigation practice.
In 2015 he founded the Law Office of Nirav S. Patel, PC and has served as its president and principal attorney. He has managed the firm’s operations since then, overseeing intake, case development and the business side of a small practice. Running a firm has required him to combine hands-on representation with administrative responsibility.
Professionally he is licensed in Illinois and has continued to base his practice in that jurisdiction. He maintains memberships in professional organizations and remains connected to the legal community in the region. Patel’s background in psychology and political science informs his approach to client interviews and case strategy.
