About Nima

Nima Javaherian attended Harvard Law School before beginning a career in private practice. He moved from law school into large firm environments, taking on associate roles that offered early courtroom and transactional exposure. He is licensed in California and has maintained that status since 2009.

He started his professional legal career in 2009 as an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. That role placed him inside a large national firm during the first years after law school. He worked on matters assigned to associates and gained experience in collaborative team settings and high-volume practice areas common to national firms.

In 2013 he joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP as an associate. At Orrick he continued to practice at a major firm and took on responsibilities typical for mid-level associates: managing client communications, drafting substantive filings and helping prepare matters for trial or transaction closings. The move reflected a steady progression through firm ranks and a willingness to take on added responsibility.

By 2016 Javaherian moved to Massumi + Consoli LLP as counsel. The title change marked a shift away from the associate track and toward a role with greater autonomy. As counsel, he handled longer-term client relationships and the kind of matters that require both detailed legal work and ongoing client contact. That position helped prepare him to operate in a smaller practice context.

He later established Java Law, P.C., a practice based in California. The firm represents clients under state law and draws on his prior experience in larger firms and a midsize boutique practice. Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers methodical legal work and clear communication. He has remained active in the California bar since 2009 and continues to practice in the state.

Across his career, Javaherian has moved from large national firms to smaller practice settings and then to his own firm. The path shows an interest in taking on different kinds of legal work and managing client relationships at various scales. His current practice is conducted through Java Law, P.C., where he focuses on legal matters under California law.
