About Nikki
Nikki Semanchik is the founding lawyer of Semanchik Law Group, a practice she established in 2017. She built the firm from the ground up and has overseen its growth through the steady handling of legal matters and the management of daily operations. Colleagues describe her approach as pragmatic; she combines careful preparation with attention to procedure and timing.
Her academic path began at the University of Arizona, where she earned a B.A. in English Literature in 2002. She went on to attend California Western School of Law and received her J.D. in 2008. Those years shaped her understanding of legal research and writing and prepared her for practice in California courts.
After law school she entered practice in California and was admitted to the California State Bar. She worked on a range of matters that demanded courtroom readiness and client counseling. Over time she moved toward leading cases and supervising other lawyers. Her trajectory reflects the common path from associate work to firm leadership, marked by incremental responsibility and growing caseloads.
In 2017 she launched Semanchik Law Group. As the founding lawyer she handles intake, case strategy, and client communication. She also manages the business side of the practice, including staffing and administrative oversight. The firm’s early years required balancing hands-on legal work with the tasks of running a small law office.
Semanchik has been a member of the San Diego County Bar Association since 2011. She maintains ties to the local legal community and participates in professional events and meetings. Those connections support her work and keep her informed about developments in California courts and practice norms.
Her practice is based at Semanchik Law Group and operates under the rules of the California State Bar. She continues to represent clients in California matters and to manage the firm she founded in 2017. She currently practices at Semanchik Law Group, representing clients in matters in California.
