About Nicole R.
Nicole R. Kurtz built her legal foundation at the University of Miami. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2006 and returned to the same campus for her law degree, receiving her J.D. in 2010. Those years in Miami embedded her in the local legal community and set the course for a practice centered in Florida.
Early in her training she worked inside different corners of the justice system. In 2011 she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Laurel M. Isicoff in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. The following year she split time between a summer associate role at Broad and Cassel and work as a certified legal intern at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. Those placements exposed her to both bankruptcy procedures and criminal defense practice.
She moved into private practice after law school. In 2013 she worked as a lawyer at Tucker & Tighe, P.A., where she handled day-to-day client matters and courtroom responsibilities. She then joined Siegfried Rivera, becoming a shareholder there in 2014. That move marked a shift into a leadership role inside a firm environment.
Across her roles, Kurtz has blended courtroom experience with firm-based practice. Her record includes time in bankruptcy settings, trial preparation at the public defender’s office, and client representation in private practice. She has handled filings, motion practice, and hearings, and she has developed practical familiarity with the procedural demands of state and federal courts in Florida.
Kurtz is admitted to practice in Florida and maintains membership in The Florida Bar. She practices under state licensure and engages with the professional standards and continuing education that accompany bar membership. Her professional trajectory reflects steady advancement from student internships to a shareholder position within a decade of completing law school.
She currently practices at Siegfried Rivera, where her work centers on representing clients in matters arising in Florida state and federal courts.
