About Nicholas Ryan
Nicholas Ryan Major is a Washington-licensed attorney who built a steady legal career after completing law school in 2015. He blends firm experience with a period of independent practice. The path is straightforward but shows movement through several different practice environments.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 2011 and continued his studies at Seattle University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2015. Those years established his foundation in law and prepared him for work in both large and boutique settings.
Major began his post-graduate legal work in 2015 as an e-DAT lawyer at K&L Gates. That role marked his entry into firm practice and gave him exposure to organized firm processes and client workflows. In 2016 he moved to Scheer Law Group and continued practicing as a lawyer, gaining hands-on experience advising clients and managing casework.
In 2018 he joined Williams Kastner & Gibbs as a lawyer. There he worked alongside other firm attorneys and handled assignments that broadened his practical knowledge. Several years later he took a position at Fox Rothschild in 2022, again serving as counsel in the firm setting. Each consecutive role added to his familiarity with firm operations and client representation in Washington.
In 2023 he established his own firm, operating under the name Nick Major Law. That step shifted him into independent practice. Running a solo practice requires different skills than working in a larger firm. He continues to serve clients directly and manage the business side of a law office.
Major is licensed to practice in Washington. Over the course of his career he has worked in a mix of national and regional firms before moving to his own practice. He has remained active in client-facing roles and has handled a variety of legal assignments across those positions.
He now operates Nick Major Law, representing clients across Washington state.
