About Nicholas

Nicholas Leger earned his J.D. from Elon University School of Law before settling into private practice in North Carolina. His legal education provided the foundation for a career spent largely inside smaller firms where partnership and hands-on client work are common. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and maintains ties to the local legal community.

His early career led to a series of partnership roles. In 2015 he became a partner at Dugan & Leger, PLLC. Three years later he moved to Atlantic Coast Law as a partner in 2018. In 2023 he joined Leger Law, PLLC as a partner. Each move kept him in the same region and in similar practice settings: compact firms that combine office-level decision making with direct client contact. The progression shows steady responsibility for cases and for firm operations.

Over the years Leger has worked on matters that require both courtroom experience and negotiated resolutions. He manages case development, client counseling, and the practical steps that carry a file from intake to outcome. Those tasks include researching law and facts, drafting pleadings and agreements, and preparing clients for hearings and settlement talks. His role as partner at successive firms has also involved mentoring junior attorneys and helping shape how offices handle their docket and client relations.

Leger is a member of the Brunswick County Bar Association. He keeps an active presence in local bar activities and participates in the civic networks that surround the bench and bar. That local involvement complements his daily practice and helps him stay connected to the procedural and community issues that affect litigation and transactional work in the area.

At Leger Law, PLLC he continues to handle a range of matters for clients across the state. His practice combines courtroom work and negotiated solutions, and he spends much of his time on client-facing tasks that move cases forward. He maintains an office in North Carolina and practices there as a partner at Leger Law, PLLC, representing clients in matters throughout the state.
